November Product Challenge

Butterfly Art
artist Vicki Boutin

This challenge was right up my alley! I love anything the sparkles and the Texture Rubbings are a perfect way to add a little glam to a project.

First, I created a quick background by layering two sheets of patterned paper. The second sheet was cut slightly smaller, distressed and attached with paper tape and brads. Next, I covered a sheet of cardstock with an adhesive sheet and ran it through my Silhouette to create the butterfly diecuts.

To add the foil and glitter, remove the backing from the adhesive sheet and gently rub on the first color of foil. (Make sure to place the foil with the shiny side up! The actual foil releases “off” of a backing sheet so if it is placed incorrectly it will remove the glue.) fill in the remaining tacky areas with a second shade of foil or glitter.

Fold the wings of the butterflies and add them to the layout.
Attach word stickers and you are done!

This is such a quick and clean way to
add a little shimmer to your paper projects.
Enjoy!
