What are my dreams made? poetry, romance and ancient styles. Probably a little chic flowers, wings of angels, old lace. All located in a former era of steampunk. A sort of cross between "Sherlock Holmes" and the "boudoir" spirit.

Oooo La La!
If you are meaning in the design of new product...more of the CLASSIC 7 Gypsies styled products. More ephemera for layering and lovely metal pieces too!
If you are saying what would I like to see your DT members do...I would like to see lots of layering and add in the old with the new...it makes me sad that we get so excited about all the new stuff that we dump the old to the background and ignore it! Why can't we use both and have them both shine together?! Isn't that what it was made for in the first place?

karen hess jewelry said...

7G is my favorite product to use and probably the hardest for me to find. Thank goodness for the power of the net! I am working on a memory album right now. My sweet hubby of 25 years passed away very unexpectedly. It has been a challenge to find just the right things to use. So far 99.9% of it has been made with 7G. I
guess my request would be for masculine
items that are not cutesy. Thanks!

genagirl said...

I'm a huge fan - I always head to the 7G section of any scrapbook store first. I'm so attracted to the vintage goodies that the only thing I can think that you could add would maybe be some vintage advertising, or something like a decrepit circus or carnival look. Something a little edgy but fun in the wonderful vintage tones but with just a tiny pop of color - like a weathered sign you come upon unexpectedly. Can't wait to see you newest - so it can become part of my newest project!!!

Gypsies products are always so unique and never go out of style. The old is always new again! There uses are plenty not just for scrapbooking, altering, or mixed media. Many of the the metal embellishments can be used in altered jewelery. I would like to see more products that are versatile for many different mixed media products. For instance. The book knobs are fabulous. I have used these not only on altered books, I have used them on items I have found at a flea market and took the old knobs and used the 7 gypsies book knobs. Really dresses up a storage item for display. Mannequin figures are very popular too! I have used the book knobs for my mini paper mache dress forms. Whatever the designers come up with, their always fabulous items!! Keep the inspiration going 7-gypsies! I am a big fan of yours.

And also use some of the paper for non-scrapbook type projects - like home decoration that is NOT centred around a festival theme like Halloween or Thanksgiving

I'd love to see ephemera and dimensional items replicating old religious relics; cards, book covers, santos, etc... I think these would be a great sell especially in light of the quality of your designs.
Thanks for the chance to win this bounty!

If you mean the product designers - I would love to see some more botanicals, ticking stripes, suitings and ginghams. I'd love to see stands for the original trays and maybe more pieces with drawers, doors and clips (mixed together). I like tissue tape but love the fabric tape for binding journals and mini books.
If you mean the design team - I would like to see more tray and drawer ideas, masculine cards and altering easily found staple items for gifts.

I love everything y'all design but would really like to get my hands on,vintage store or hotel record book pages or anything with old accounting/bank books. I also wish someone would do some papers of vintage bible pages. Thanks for letting us make suggestions!

As I was riding a vintage hand carved carosel horse a couple of weeks ago,(pics on blog) i though it would be so cool if you could conjour up a fab sideshow circus/vintage carnival type of line ... i'm thinking kinda freakshow, kinda beautiful and totally vintage ... okay ... i know that sounds weird ... but that's what i think you would rock, especially with a line of embellishments and tissue paper and tape, and a carousel shaped book ... In the mean time, i just love everything you do!

I would love to just see you keep doing what you do so well. I'm inspired by your products. Of course, throwing in more vintage botanicals would be an added bonus.

Would love to see some journal kits. I like making my own journals and one of the things I have trouble finding is the right filler paper. I'd love to be able to get aged, vintage parchment type paper...oh and more transparencies! The advent ATC tutorials on the blog were so inspirational, more tutorials would be great too!

I would definitely love to to see more vintage-type items, like wrought iron gates, shutters, and items like that. I totally loved working with your loops and hooks trim this past year so more things like that would be welcome as well.

I would like to see a whole lot more of the same! You are fortunate to have some of the best artists on board. I love anything French or British themed (still hoarding some Lille). And of course more tape, lots of tape, love my 7Gypsies tape.

Great open ended question gypsy team!!!
Well, i scanned the previous comments and must say there is a vintage appetite on the market. My suggestion is bring a collection in that takes everyone back to the Titanic movie. I am a masculine mixed media scrapper who loves gears.... I can see it now, the engine room, the dinning room, the parasols, vintage cars, jewelry the list could go on and on..
I am all excited just thinking about it. Gott'a go watch the movie now to get my fix!!!! wink wink!!!

Considering the 7G products are so diverse, the only thing I can think of (and maybe they exist, just not in my LSS) but smaller and more variety in the shapes of the artist trays!

Oh my!! What amazing candy you have for us!! I am so crazy in love with your products. Lots of great stuff on the market but sometimes you just find a vendor that "sings your song" and for me 7 Gypsies is it. I live in a house full of men, 5 sons so I'd love to see some vintage car items.

I would like to see some birthday papers gypsy style.

OMGoodness, what would I like to see that I havent from 7 Gypsies? hmmm. That is a very hard ???. How about some die cuts with your fantastic stamps? Thanks for the chance for goodies.

DD Wilson said...

Since I don't journal, anything to do with creating background, like the Tattered Angels products would be great. Inks, washes or glazes would also be wonderful. Stamps that can be used as layers. Your papers are great for collagesand back grounds.
Thanks for all you do.

I am looking at your stash and am green with envy and desire! I love your ideas and the kids I teach for a nonprofit organization I work with are actually using some of your products to create ATC cards that we will swap at the end of the semester!! You are making a difference in the lives of children who wouldn't have had a chance to know you or ART for that matter otherwise. Thanks for making your stuff affordable to people like me who do this for a multitude of reasons that all feed the soul! I would love to see old classic books turned into a line (To Kill a Mockingbird, Gone with the Wind for example) if it hasn't been already (I don't get to shop a lot so I am out of the loop), classic kids games too would be fun, pay homage to crafting in true craftsman style, art and architecture, basic color combos with layering capabilities and less detailed graphics, and I still love, love, love, anything flea market or "minied" up...

I love the new postal line! I'd love to see a line involving vintage sewing notions, embroidery, spools and sewing machines. I'd love to see some dusty reds and aquas in a paper line. Tapes...I love tapes!
