NEW display trims?

Remember our sneak peak of the new display trims from CHA Winter?
We're excited to announce that they are all in stock and available at the 7gypsies online store!

If you're not quite sure just what the display trims are, here's some inspiration:

In the project above you can see what a fabulous finishing touch the corners and dome studs add to this gorgeous wedding tray display.

  • All trims come in both antique silver and antique brass finishes.
  • They're also self-adhering, so all you have to do is peel of the backing and apply to your favorite display!

A detail of the corners.  They come packaged with 12 corners...  4 Large and 8 small!

Below you'll see a closer look at the studs, um no, not THOSE kind of studs.
But hey, we think these are drool worthy too!

They come in 2 styles: dome and pyramid
both are available in antique silver and antique brass

dome studs

pyramid studs

We've seen these used in many different ways.

The most "traditional" is to place them at the dividing points in the tray partitions as shown below

But they also make great embellishments:

You can also spot them in the arrow:

and if you look closely you'll see one on the wrist of the pointing hand! (so cute)

We even found this posted on our facebook wall by one of our fellow gypsies!
A cool card for father's day (see the studs on the rocket?)

And remember these Loops & Hooks?

We designed these clever trims to hang embellishment from your trays.
No drilling needed~ just stick them in place!

See?

And leave it to gypsy artist Sande Kreiger to find new creative ways to use the Loops and Hooks:

See the 2 loops holding the chain in place?

She also used loops on each side of the tray opening to hang a banner from:

new display trim peak & librarie drawer winners!!

If you've been a gypsy for the past year you've probably experienced a love affair of some sort with at least one of our trays... we hear it goes something like this:
see, covet, purchase, embellish, fall in love, hang on wall, repeat
sound familiar?
We certainly hope so!

the full collection of trays:
artist printer tray, 4x6 photo tray, letterblock tray, letterpress shadowbox tray
artist printer tray embellished with family card kit by Ranjini

And for those of you who have managed to resist the temptation, we've upped the anty with some simply too good to resist trims perfect for finishing off your display tray masterpiece!

Ok... so here's a closer look at some of the wares.

Check out the ornate corner and metal studs framing the tray opening below...

Cute? yeah we think so!  We now have adhesive backed display trim studs and corners!  And they are so easy to use.  Simply peel off the backing to expose the adhesive and stick on the tray.
How cool is that?!

The studs come in 2 different styles as shown above~ pyramid or dome and both styles come in antique silver AND antique brass.
gypsy secret:  yes, it is ok to mix your metal finishes, in fact we consider it extra gypsy-ish!

And the corners come 12 per pack~ 4 large and 8 small.  Use the large corners to adorn the outer edges of your trays and the small to embellish the smaller openings inside.  They come in both antique silver AND antique brass as well.

Ever wondered how to hang charms and dimensional embellishments in the tray openings?  We did too! And after tinkering in the workshop we came up with a darn cute hook and loop set that does the trick.  The "loop" is self adhering and can be stuck directly to the wood wherever you'd like to hang your trinkets.  Use the mini hook or even ribbon, jumprings, twine or anything you've got in your stash~  to connect your charms to the loop.

And finally, our new mini hangers.  These cleverly crafted clips can hold small findings and can be "hung"just like their much larger namesake.  We've hung ours from our elastics and added to an artist printers tray below.

And yes, they come in both antique silver and antique brass!

We'd love to hear what you think about the new display trims!

Oh, and of course we must announce our winners for the librarie drawer giveaway!!
