from our workshop: cha winter sneak peek #2

The journey through the postale collection continues... we have SO many new products that are part of this collection!!

A fun new clear stamp along with 3 new papertape designs.  Now if you haven't tried our papertape yet, you MUST.  It is NOT washi tape, it is paper tape~ it actually works like tape AND looks great too!

And 2 new stickers~ a classic black alphabet and a MUST have collection sticker.

These "tags" also double as cute journaling cards and inserts for the new tag envelopes!  SO darn cute in a 2.5"x 2.5" size.  (you'll want to wallpaper your craft room with these when you see them)

These envelopes are made to fit the new tag inserts and are CUTE (we just can't say it enough)
What is also FABULOUS about these new envelopes and inserts is that they fit perfectly in our mini library drawer and the artist printers tray!

Here's a beautiful project showing the mini library drawer stuffed with the new postale inserts & envelopes.

Next up are the index inserts.  These are made to fit our the new index envelopes (below)  These are a great size for journaling and cards.
We also just had to throw in a naked version of the index cards~ create your own design by stamping, inking, collaging and journaling on these!  AND they have a scalloped edge!

The index envelopes are designed to fit the index inserts.  At 6"x5" they'll also hold photos and fit perfectly in our Librarie Drawer!

And since we've got lots of fun new goodies to fit the librarie drawer, we figured that every gypsy needed a new set of Librarie Drawer tabs to complete a fun librarie drawer project.  Check out the project below!

And.....
New 7gypsies/ Tattered Angles Paint system!!

We were so excited to get to formulate and design our own custom 7gypsies paint system with Tattered Angels.  It coordinates with the Postale collection and has a bit of everything~ glam, glaze, glimmer mist & chalkboard mist!!

Are you excited to play with these???

Check back Tuesday for a look at the new Trousseau collection!!

gypsy life: holiday decor - tags!

after you spend so much of your time thinking and contemplating the perfect gift for all those special people in your lives and then finally wrapping those presents, you think, "how will people know who it's for?"
why not create a fabulous tag like our gypsies Mou and Paula did?
mou always does such a great job mixing in all sorts of fun elements into her projects, and this time is no different....
starting with our gorgeous gypsy tags, mou began adding pieces, layer by layer, to create these beautiful-one-of-a-kind gift tags!
look how she used a frame from our frames collage tissue and the Christmas stamp to add fun holiday statements!
paula created these vintage tags using our frames and silhouettes collage tissue!
adding some pieces from old song books behind to create such beautiful dimension..
want to know how she cut the images out so precisely? check out her blog for a how to!
we will be sharing holiday decor ideas all week gypsies!!
don't miss out on all the fun we are having here in the gypsy workshop

Day 6

#6. Trio Stamps

Now we know we have talked about Trio stamps before but this time they are round trio stamps! There are 5 new self-inking stamps and each one has 3 designs. We admit, they are kinda addictive...once you start, you just can't stop stamping!

Certify #17800
Don't you just love the circle of stars?

Label #17801

Travel #17802
We think you could use that arrow about a million places!
Time #17803
Words #17804

This is the stamp opened up. The circles are a little over an inch across. You can see in the bottom photo the size. To give you some perspective, the blue dot is from a 1" punch.
Happy stamping!

Day 2

#2. Clear stamps...these stamps come on an 8 x 10 sheet and are BIG!
Numbers are 1 3/4" and letters are either 1 1/4" or 1 3/4" depending on the letter. We love these stamps...so fun to use. They stamp really nice and clear. In fact once you get going you can hardly stop stamping. Scroll down for some sample pages from a journal we made where we mixed both stamps together.

Alphabet Savannah #17805
The stamp- Journal # 17806 is so good. We have designed it so you can make a complete journal using just the stamps. See the stamp at the bottom that looks like one of our 97% cards? The smaller words at the bottom (things I know, everyday, and right now...) all fit into the long vertical rectangle on the left hand side so you can mix and match to make your own journaling cards. Oh, and we forgot to mention they are each only $15.95! That price is absolutely shocking for a stamp of this size.

This is part of an 8 x 8 page that we posted back on Aug 3rd (you can scroll down to see the complete page if you missed it). Can you see all the stamps as embellishments? We just stamped the images on manila cardstock using different colored ink, then cut them out, distressed and adhered to the page. The lettering "remember to pack the handi-wipes" was done on the computer, cut out and glued on . The red star is made from the chipboard-Elements #17578 and covered in our new red flocked paper (check back tomorrow for more info on the flocked paper...it is so yummy!)

Check back for tomorrows favorite thing!
